The road to a 2027 offer — six stages, one deadline.

Stage 01 · First contact

Today

One WhatsApp message

School year, subjects, predicted grades. A reply in minutes, either way.

What happens after you message →

Stage 02 · The straight read

Free

A consultation with the founders

Not a salesperson. An honest read on your child's chances — and if we don't believe we can place them, we say so and don't take your money.

Who takes the call →

Stage 03 · The strategy map

Before any programme begins

Course list and positioning, in writing

A deeper strategy consultation maps your child's course list, university selection and positioning into a written plan — the document the rest of the programme executes against. £250, credited in full on enrolment.

Stage 04 · The build

Summer 2026

Specialist matched, heavy lifting begins

Published fees and terms in writing, then your child is matched with their subject specialist. Weekly sessions: the personal statement drafted and redrafted for the three-question format — and for medicine, structured UCAT preparation while the test runs July to September.

Every fee in writing →

Stage 05 · Submission

September 2026

The application goes in

UCAS opens 1 September. The complete file — statement final, choices locked — goes in ahead of the rush.

The deadline

15 October 2026, 18:00 UK

Oxford, Cambridge & Medicine close

The fixed point the whole programme works back from. All other courses close 13 January 2027.

Stage 06 · The interview room

November 2026 – spring 2027

Interviews, offers — then we meet them

Mock interviews with tutors who have sat on the other side of the table. Offers land through the spring; then we work with your child to meet the grades.

We only take students we believe we can place.

If your child's predicted grades don't put a G5 offer within honest reach yet, we will say so at the door, tell you what would need to change, and not take your money. A firm that says no for a living is a firm whose yes means something.

We are paid by you, and only you. Much of this market runs on commission from universities and institutions — the adviser is the seller's agent, not yours. We work for your family: an honest read first, specialists on the work after.

Both founders came through Concord College — a school Hong Kong parents know for its results — and on to King's and Imperial. They built Flintstrike around specialists: the Oxford, Cambridge and Imperial graduates who make the difference between a strong candidate and an admitted one.

The name is literal. Strike flint, and you get a spark. Take a bright mind, put the right specialist against it at the right moment, and it catches. That is the whole company: excellence in who we hire, and in where our students end up.

More about the team →

Straight answers, including the awkward ones.

What's your track record?

Our tutors have collectively secured 12+ Oxford & Cambridge offers and 70+ London university offers — and since 2023, every G5 applicant Flintstrike has taken has received a G5 offer. Selected cases, named with consent, are on the Results page.

Why would you reject my child?

Because we only take students whose predicted grades put a G5 offer within honest reach. If that's not your child yet, we'll tell you what would need to change and when to come back. We'd rather lose a fee than mislead a family.

How much does it cost?

Every fee is published on the pricing page — most of this market quotes only after a sales call. The first consultation is free, and you'll have terms in writing before you commit to anything.

What happens after I message you?

You'll get a reply within minutes from our assistant — it will ask for your child's school year, subjects and predicted grades, in English or Chinese, whichever you write in. Then you book a free consultation with one of the founders directly. No pressure at any step; the selectivity works both ways.
